Rose Marie Bettile

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM Wednesday at St. Charles Borromeo Church for Rose Marie Bettile, 88, of Boardman Township who passed away Friday evening, May 18, 2018 at Greenbrier Health Care Center. Rose Marie was born October 6, 1929 in Conemaugh. PA., the daughter of the late Metro and Mary (Yartin) Oshansky. She was a Dental Assistant for 2 years and spent many summers working at Dairy Queen, but most importantly Rose Marie was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Church. Rose enjoyed Square Dancing and Ballroom Dancing at the Idora Park Ballroom. She loved to travel and enjoyed the five years she spent living in Florida. Her husband Aldo Bettile, whom she married June 18, 1949 passed away in 2008. Rose Marie leaves four children, Sandra (Paul) Cornille of Tampa FL., Gloria (Jim) Naumoff of Poland Twp., Diane (John) Comer of Nashville TN., and Anthony "Tony" (Kim) Bettile of Canfield. She also leaves seven grandchildren, Brian (Andrea) Niro, Jeffery (Lindsey) Naumoff, Katie (Travis) Scott, Anthony B. Bettile, Brittany Bettile, Matthew Comer, and Jessica Comer, as well as two great grandchildren,Elijah and Jacob. Besides her parents and husband, Rose Marie was preceded in death by four brothers, Joseph, John, Frank and Andrew Oshansky and three sisters, Josephine Lucas, Elizabeth Regula, and Ann Sitnick. Friends may call from 5 to 7 PM Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home, Canfield Chapel and again from 10 AM until 11 AM Wednesday at St. Charles Church where mass will begin at 11 AM.
