Ruth Galley

Canfield- Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday at Green Ridge Cemetery in Pennsville, PA for Ruth Galley of Canfield and formerly of Mt. Pleasant, PA., who passed away on Monday at Carrington South Nursing Home. Mrs. Galley was born June 24, 1917 in Unity, PA the daughter of Ewing and Edna (Fox) Speer. Ruth was a Sunday School Teacher and sang in the choir at the Church of God in Mt. Pleasant, PA and loved working with children. She leaves her daughter Janice Paszko of Canfield and a sister Fern Cowsert of New Springfield, OH. Ruth also leaves a brother Elmer Speer of Ruffsdale, PA as well as two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mrs. Galley was preceded in death by her Husband Karl whom she married December 18, 1935 and passed away on June 1, 2000. She was also preceded in death by two brothers: David and Robert Speer as well as a two sisters Edna Carney-Hufnagle, and Peg Korn.
