Ruth I. Anstrom

North Lima-Ruth Isabel Anstrom, 97, entered into rest Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017. Ruth was born Aug. 19, 1920, the daughter of George C., M.D. and Laura M. Mills Warnock. She graduated from South High School and the College of Wooster. Ruth had been active in the Boardman Methodist Church, University Women, The Daughters of the American Revolution and the Pymatuning Yaught Club. Her husband of 66 years, Wilber "Wib" Edulf Anstrom, whom she married Oct. 17, 1942, died Oct. 10, 2008. Ruth is survived by her son, Jon R. (Sally J.) Anstrom of Boardman; her daughter, Barbara R. (Joel B.) Ridge of Orchard Park, NY; her grandchildren, Ryan (Brittany) Anstrom of Mentor, Laura (David) Helwig and Noel Ridge both of Orchard Park, NY; gr. grandchildren, Nils Helwig, Joanna, Natalie and Austin Anstrom and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband Wib, Ruth was preceded in death by her grandson Jon Erik Anstrom; her brother, Robert G. Warnock, M.D. and her sister-in-law, Janet Warnock. Services will be Private.
