Sandra M. Hodge, 83, passed away Wednesday morning, January 17, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.
Sandra was born on July 12, 1940 in Geneva, PA, a daughter of the late Ward and Alice Bailey Sr.
She was a graduate of Cambridge Springs High School and was a flight attendant with American Airlines before starting her family.
She enjoyed bowling at Thorton Hall and Sunset Lanes, reading many books, and exercising with her Packard Electric friends at Curves. She loved spending time with her family, especially attending her grandchildren’s extracurricular activities or playing Horse or softball with them, and cooking Sunday spaghetti dinners. She also attended Twins Day in Twinsburg, OH with her twin sister Sonja, and twin grandsons Jimmy and Jeremy for 17 years.
Sandra will be deeply missed by her daughters, Stacia Pascale, Kristin Drapola, and Stefanie (Dan) Quinlan; grandchildren, Peter Pascale, Preston (Allison) Pascale, Jimmy (Haley) Quinlan, Jeremy (Emily) Quinlan, Alisha (Zach) Hosick, McKenzie Drapola, and Bailey Drapola; great-grandchildren, Oliver Hunkus, Thomas Pascale, and baby girl Hosick who is due in March; siblings, her twin sister Sonja Galkiewicz, Ward (Dawn) Bailey II, and Lynn (Doug) Dunton. She also will be missed by her cat Reese Cup and dog Lola.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Hodge, whom she married on June 22, 1961, and who passed away on November 7, 2021.
Funeral service will be held on Monday January 22, 2024 at 12:30PM at Brookfield United Methodist Church, located at 6951 Grove St. in Brookfield.
Burial will take place at Brookfield Township Cemetery.
