Sarah Ann Wertz

Private services were held for Sarah Ann Wertz, 76, of Austintown who passed away Monday morning in Northside Medical Center. Sarah was born June 22, 1935 in Youngstown the daughter of Morgan and Marie (Pavalko) Wile. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Sarah was a member of the Lutheran Faith, and enjoyed flower gardening and making crafts. She leaves her husband Kenneth S. Wertz Sr., whom she married February 13, 1954, seven children, Ken (Cindy) Wertz of Lisbon, Keith (Bonnie) Wertz of Annapolis, MD., Kirk Wertz of Austintown, Dottie(Dave) Deeds of Cleveland, Wendy (Gary) Wakeford of Canfield, Michele (Jerome) Jones of Youngstown, and Jake Wertz at home. Sarah also leaves two sisters, Ruth and Martha, as well as 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild. There were no calling hours. Arrangements were by the Lane Family Funeral Home Austintown Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the M.S. Society in Sarah's name.
