Mr. Scott Allen Brown, 55, of Canfield, died late Friday evening August 16th following an extended illness, at the Hospice House in Poland.
Scott was born January 10, 1969 in Youngstown, a son of Charles and Loretta "Lorrie" (Kerr) Brown.
He was a 1987 graduate of Canfield High School. He went on to further his education at Kent State University achieving a Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration. He was self employed and worked as owner/operator of High Speed PC, a computer hardware company, for more than twenty years while raising his son as a single father and twice battling cancer.
Scott loved the outdoors, hiking, camping, and rock climbing, and he always wanted to live in a cabin in the woods. His sense of humor made everyone laugh, even some of the staff at the hospital. Scott was a true Christian and believed deeply in The Lord and Eternity.
Scott will be lovingly missed by his parents, Chuck and Lorrie, of Canfield; his son, Logan M. Brown; his brother, Stephen (Angela) Brown, of Ravenna; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his longtime friends, Mike, Dave, Brian, and Tod.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, an aunt, two uncles, and two little second cousins.
Scott's father was always proud and envious of his hole in one while golfing with his Dad and brother.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 23rd, at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel, 65 N. Broad St., Canfield.
Friends may call 5-7 PM Thursday, August 22nd, and one hour prior to services from 10-11 AM Friday, at the funeral home.
He will be laid to rest in the Canfield Village Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley or the American Cancer Society, in Scott's memory.
