Shawn E. Yanvari

Shawn E. Yanvari, 67, of Canfield, passed away peacefully in the early hours of Monday, October 14, 2024, just two days shy of her birthday. Born on October 16, 1956, in Youngstown, she was the daughter of the late William M. and Audrey (Vedernack) Cleary and a lifelong resident of the area.

Shawn graduated from Ursuline High School in 1974 and enjoyed a varied career, working as an assembler for Delphi Packard Electric for ten years and previously as a waitress at Red Lobster for over 15 years. Known for her culinary skills, Shawn took great joy in cooking, always ensuring that her meals were filled with love and flavor.

Above all, Shawn cherished her family. She was incredibly proud of her son, Jesse S. Yanvari, and her beloved grandchildren, Ireland and Liam. Shawn is survived by her devoted husband, Rodney J. Yanvari, whom she married on July 26, 1980, and her three sisters: Kathleen Miller of High Falls, NY; Colleen Cleary of Vienna; and Laura Cleary of Boardman.
