Sheila Irene Feliz

Sheila I. Feliz, 50 of Warren, passed away unexpectedly Saturday afternoon, March 30, 2019, at the St. Joseph Warren Hospital emergency room. She was born July 4, 1968 in Warren, the daughter of the late Michael Ted Welke and Lynda G. Cope Welke of Warren. Sheila was a 1986 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and received her cosmetology certification from Lewis, Weinberger and Hill School of Cosmetology in Howland. She was presently working for the City of Warren Water Department, where she worked for over 18 years. Sheila loved spending time with her husband, children and her grandson. She was very proud of her entire family. She was loved and will be missed by her family and many friends. She is survived by her husband, Stephen A. "Corn Dog" Feliz, whom she married December 24, 2015; her mother, Lynda Welke of Warren; one daughter, Samantha Kay Feliz of White Salmon, Wash.; one son, Theodore R. (Rosangelie) Welke with the U.S. Navy in Norfolk, Va.; one grandson, Theo A. Welke; one sister, Tina M. Welke-Pflager and one brother, Michael T. (Kelly) Welke both of Warren; three nieces, Marissa and Kaitlyn Welke and Lexie Pflager; one nephew, Dylan Pflager; her lifelong best friend, Kelly Stitle of Warren Twp.; her mother-in-law, Pauline Schlegel and her brother-in-law, Renaldo (Heidi) Feliz Jr. both of Arizona; her sister-in-law, Margaret (Christopher) Lum of Spokane, Wash.; her beloved dog, Tuukka and beloved cats, Pickles and Sheldon. Sheila was preceded in death by her dad, Michael T. Welke in 2009. The family will receive friends from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel in Warren, where an informal Celebration of Sheila's Life will follow at 6:30 p.m. Per Sheila's wishes cremation will be held.
