Shirley J Boyd

Shirley J. Boyd, 69, of Girard, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at St. Elizabeth's in Youngstown. Shirley was born in Youngstown, Ohio, September 12, 1948, the daughter of James and Elaine Morris. Shirley is a 1966 graduate of Girard High School and a lifelong resident. Prior to retirement in 2016, she was a Bookkeeper and employee of Jewish Family Services. Shirley was a volunteer for Red Cross and Neighborhood Ministries Kirwan. Shirley enjoyed traveling, yoga, and puzzles. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Wesley H. Boyd, whom she married June 27, 1969, her daughters; Shelia (Michael) Foreback of Niles and Tracy Boyd of Youngstown, and her grandchildren; Alexia Page- Boyd, Rachel Foreback, and Christopher Foreback. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Jim Morris. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2017, at 11:00 AM at Calvary Baptist Church in Boardman. The family request any memorial contributions be made to the Neighborhood Ministries Kirwan After-school Program, 75 Jackson St., Campbell, OH, 44405, in Shirley's name.
