Shirley J. Metcalf, 75 Shirley J. Metcalf, 75 died unexpectedly at her residence Friday afternoon. Shirley was born May 8, 1943, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Henry and Freda (Carpenter) Pietrusinski and was a lifelong area resident. Shirley worked many odd jobs, but most importantly she was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and cooking. Her husband, James Metcalf died July 24, 2008. She leaves a brother, James Hale of Mineral Ridge; two sisters, Barbara Baker of Green, Ohio and Ruthie Martin of Austintown. There will be no services or calling hours per Shirleys wishes. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
