Sueanne Carter

CANFIELD-There will be Services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Lane Family Funeral Homes-Canfield Chapel for Sue Anne Carter, 84, who passed away Thursday evening. She was born June 14, 1933 in Youngstown, a daughter of Randall O. and Emma Crowe Detchon. Sue was a home-maker and had been a secretary for various companies. She was a 1951 graduate of Boardman High School. Sue was a 4-H Advisor. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and also liked to bowl. Sue loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her husband, Harley J. Carter, whom she married April 16, 1953, died Jan. 25, 2000. Sue is survived by her daughter, Alyceanne (Matthew) Wingate of Canfield; her sons, Mark D. Carter of Salem, OR, Patrick J. Carter of Avon Lake and Christopher (Alice) Carter of Austintown; her sister, Carol Ivan of Boardman and her grandchildren, P.J. Carter, Amanda Windgate and Spencer Windgate.
