Suellen Blasdell

Suellen Blasdell, 74 Suellen Blasdell died early Wednesday morning at her residence. Suellen was born May 6, 1944 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Aloysius and Sara (Ray) Schulz and was a lifelong area resident. She graduated from Canfield High School in 1962 and worked as a supervisor for General Motors/Packard/Delphi for 27 years, retiring January 1, 1999. Suellen was a member of Calvary Baptist Church; was past president of the Canfield Republican Womens Club and was an avid antique dealer. She leaves her husband, William A. Blasdell, whom she married July 17, 1966; two sons, William Blasdell, Jr. of Canfield, John Andrew (Rachel Rutter) Blasdell of Florida and six grandchildren. Suellen also leaves a brother, Thomas Schulz of Mentor and a sister, Nancy Schulz of Canfield. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Lung Association. The family will celebrate the life of Suellen in a private service.
