Teresa M. Griner

A Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, at St. Christine’s Church, for Teresa M. Griner, formerly of Skyline Dr. in Canfield, who passed away Sunday at Sterling House of Youngstown. She was born January 5, 1915 in Youngstown the daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth (Herzniak) Herman. Mrs. Griner was an assistant for Dr. Henry Sisek and retired in 1968 after 28 years of service. She was a member of the church, the republican’s Women’s Club, Golden Agers, AARP, and the Ruritan Auxillary. Teresa was formerly a member of St. Michael’s Church where she served on the Alter Rosary Society Teresa leaves a sister Stella Hunter and several nieces and nephews. Her husband Frank Griner, whom she married August 19, 1941, preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a sister Rose Marie DuPonty, and a half-sister Louise Delija.
