Thelma Irene Greggs

Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Monday at Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Thelma Greggs who passed away Thursday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. She was born June 26, 1924 in Youngstown a daughter of Anthony and Harriet (Beddell) Broll. She was a retired nurses aid from Sleighbell Nursing Home for 18 years, a former member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church. She was active in the PTA, Ladies Auxillary VFW #4237 and Austintown Eagles. She is survived by 2 daughters Emma Jean Greggs of Austintown, and Debra Crawford of Cleveland; 2 sisters Dorothy Wagner and Viona Ludke both of Youngstown; 2 brothers Howard Broll Jr of Liberty, and, Donald Broll of Poland; Three grandchildren: Jason and Michael Crawford both of Chicago, IL and Jaime Crawford of Warren. She is preceded is death by her husband Charles R. Greggs Jr. whom she married July 30, 1947; three brothers Harry, James, and Jack Broll. Friends may call from 2-5 Sunday and one hour prior to the services Monday at Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel.
