Ted "Bubba" Stipanovich, 79, of Youngstown, passed away on Tuesday at Hillside Rehabilitation. Ted was born July 27, 1938 in Youngstown, Ohio, a son of Theodore and Sadie (Visnich) Stipanovich. Ted was an electrician for Local Union 64, retiring in 2000. He served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He was a member of St. Michael's Church in Canfield. Ted was a member of the Tri State Marine Corp League #494. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and spending time with his family. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Dolores Stipanovich, whom he married May 7, 1960, his sons, Charles (Maria) of Illinois, David (Jodie) of Austintown, and Ted (Robyn) of North Lima, his daughter-in-law Betsy Stipanovich of Austintown, his brother Sam (Elaine) of Missouri, his grandchildren Susan Stipanovich of Washington D.C, Alec Stipanovich of Columbus, Caulin Bloom of Pittsburgh, Jessica (Aaron) Palmieri of Pittsburgh, Alexis Stipanovich Boardman, Joshua (Carrie) Stipanovich of Boardman, Alyssa Stipanovich of Youngstown, Jordan Stipanovich of Austintown, Katie Stipanovich of Austintown, David Stipanovich of Austintown, Anthony Stipanovich of Austintown, Zachary Stipanovich of Austintown, and Roman Stipanovich of North Lima, and his great-grandchildren Adrianna, Kryslin, Joshua, and Olivia. Besides his parents, Ted was preceded in death by his son Dan and his sister Martha Davidek. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Michael's Church in Canfield. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Disable American Veterans (DAV), 110 Westchester Dr., Youngstown, Ohio, 44515.
