Theresa M. Jordon, 79, of Canfield, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Thursday evening July 18th at her residence.
She was born on November 12, 1944, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Samuel J., Sr. and Stella P. (Ortenzio) Jordon.
Theresa was a 1962 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School, later attended Beauty School and became a cosmetologist. She worked in this profession for 10 years, creating a salon in her home so that she could be close to her young children. She then became a salesperson for Home Interiors and Gifts, working her way up to becoming a Senior Manager with teams in Ohio and West Virginia. After 20 years with Home Interiors, Theresa returned to school to get her real estate license and worked as a realtor for Howard Hanna and Berkshire Hathaway until she retired in 2017.
Theresa made the holidays extremely special and Sunday dinners at her house were the highlight of everyone’s week. She loved to travel and visited many places in Europe, Asia, Africa, and throughout the United States.
Left to honor her memory are her daughter Cari R. Constantino-Tetlow, of Canfield and her son Nicholas J. (Lisa) Constantino, Jr., of Twinsburg. She also leaves behind three granddaughters, Alexis Tetlow, Claire, and Paige Constantino; a brother, Samuel J. Jordon, Jr., of Austintown, a sister Angeline M. Jordon, of Las Vegas, NV, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides her parents, Theresa was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Ralph A. (Georgia) Jordon, Sr.
Theresa’s life will be celebrated at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel where friends and family may call Tuesday, July 23rd, from 5:00-7:00 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 24th at the Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 343 Via Mt Carmel Ave, Youngstown, with the Very Reverend Monsignor Michael J. Cariglio as celebrant.
She will be laid to rest at the Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD, 21741.
