Thomas Miller

Farmdale - Thomas Miller, 76, passed away Wednesday afternoon August 23, 2017 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, OH. Thomas was born on March 26, 1941 at home in Jimtown, WV, a son of the late Clarence D. Miller and Jessie W. (Carr) Miller. He attended Colton High School in WV and was a proud United States Army veteran. He worked at Van Huffel Tube and WCI in Warren until he retired. He loved to hunt, fish, and enjoyed taking care of his farm and many types of animals. He was a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers and Jeff Gordon fan. He will be deeply missed by his children, Mark Miller, Lorie Sardich, William Williams Jr., and Shari Blaire; his grandchildren, Kara, Bryanne, David Lee, Joshua, and Matthew; his great-grandchildren, Taylor, Abby, Mason, and Colton; his sisters, Cornelia "Ching" Phillips, Dorothy Sharp, and Midge Taylor; and his brothers Jake and Edward Miller; and his former wife Ann Miller. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday August 29, 2017 at 11:00AM at Lane Family Funeral Homes Shafer Winans Chapel in Cortland, followed by a burial at Johnston Township Cemetery with full military honors presented by American Legion Post #540. Family and friends may visit from 6-8:00PM on Monday August 28, 2017 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Ohio Living Hospice.
