Thomas James Varner, 71, passed away on August 27, 2018 at Cleveland Clinic. Tom was born on December 14, 1946 to Thomas J. & Helen F. (White) Varner. He was a lifelong resident of the area. After proudly serving his country in the Army, Tom spent his career driving trucks for several companies including Cook Motor Lines and Yelp. He retired from Preston Trucking. Tom loved motorcycles, and was a member of the American Motorcycle Association. He enjoyed riding with his wife Bonnie on his Goldwing. He also was a member of the NRA, as well. Tom was a self-taught computer techy, and was always interested in the latest and greatest gadgets to hit the market. However, most importantly, Tom was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather as well as a foster parent to over 20 children. Following cremation, there are no formal services planned at this time. Tom is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Prezioso) Varner; his children Jeff Murdock, Sean (Misty) Morrison Sr., Connie Varner-Shultz, and Lisa Morrison as well as John (Michelle) Musch, Rob Musch and Melissa (Ryan) Musch Symons; his grandchildren: Riley, Dawson & Devon Murdock, Jonathan Varner, Stephen & Kylie Shultz, Sean Jr., Shane & Sheldon Morrison, Breonna & Christopher Morrison; his great grandchildren: Jonathon Jr., Zachary & Carson Varner and his sister Eleanor Whitfield as well as many other relatives. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, his son Aaron Morrison, his brother Robert Varner and his sisters Nancy Burnetti and Cathy Snovak.
