Tonya L. Brooks

Tonya L. Brooks, 59, of Boardman, passed away on January 9, 2019 at her residence. Tonya was born October 25, 1959 in Youngstown, daughter of Martin Mattie and Norman Jean (Johnston) Valentine. Tonya loved shopping, attending festivals and car shows, and her antique mustang. Her most valuable treasures were her grandchildren and she loved spending time with them. Tonya is survived by her children Nicole (John Miller) Brooks of Canfield, Bryan Brooks of Austintown, and Brandon Brooks; her grandchildren Khloe Brooks, Cody Miller and Owen Miller; and her siblings Robert (Meg) Mattie, Mark Valentine, Shane Liller, and Susan (Dave) Johnston Williams. She is preceded in death by her parents. The family will receive relatives and friends Tuesday, January 15, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Lane Funeral Homes, Canfield Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
