Boardman- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 AM Friday in St. Michael's Church in Canfield for Ursula "Gail" Polish, age 54 of Boardman who died at St. Elizabeth in Boardman on Monday. Gail was born July 23, 1954 in Youngstown and was the daughter of the late Richard Mette and Theresa "Terry" Johnson. She had been employed at Alltel in Boardman. She had spent many years as an active volunteer with the Austintown Little Falcons. She was a huge Jeopardy fan and enjoyed writing poetry. Gail was a loving and devoted friend and mother, who had a way of making those around her happy with her sense of humor and quick wit. The love and pride she felt for her grandchildren was apparent in the way she lived her life and devoted her time to them. Gail is survived by three children, John (Jessica) Polish of Henderson, Nev., Angela (Timothy) Honthy of Canfield, Joseph Polish of Houston, TX, a sister Cindy (Larry) Lange of The Woodlands, TX. and a brother John (Brenda) Johnson of Houston, TX. Gail leaves her three loving grandchildren, Madison and Alec Honthy, Krista and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Gerald Michael Johnson. Friends may call at the Lane Funeral Home-Austintown Chapel from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Thursday.
