Victor Edward Ellis

Victor Edward Ellis, 53, of Niles, passed away on Monday morning, October 2, 2017 at his home. He was born September 2, 1964 in Warren, the son of Lois Hoover-McElroy of Niles. He was a lifetime Trumbull county resident. Victor attended Niles McKinley High School. He was certified in asbestos abatement. Victor worked as a truck driver/dispatcher and heavy machinery operator. He was also the co-founder of Steel Valley Firebrick in Columbiana. His hobbies included playing guitar, motorcycles, and being outdoors. Victor is survived by his mother, Lois McElroy of Niles; his two brothers, Anthony J. Ellis and Michael V. Ellis both of Niles; little Madison of Niles whom he loved dearly; uncles and aunts, Bruce and Darla Hoover of Medina, Kenneth and Debra Hoover of Henderson, NV, Debra and Gary Scott of Niles, and Teena Keener of Warren; extended family, Jackie and Denny Garito of Niles and many cousins and friends. Besides by his father, Charles E. McElroy, Victor is preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry and Ruth Hoover. A private celebration of Victor's life will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Lane Family Funeral Homes, Niles Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
