Victoria Neghiu

Victoria Neghiu, 97, Columbia, MO, formerly of San Leandro, CA passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Provision Living in Columbia, MO. Graveside services will be held on Monday, September 24, 2018 at 10:00 am at Oakwood Cemetery in Warren, OH. Victoria was born in Warren, Ohio on April 23, 1921 the daughter of John and Sofia (Costa) Sass who preceded her in death. She lived part of her life in Ohio and graduated from Mecca High School. She worked for General Motors Corporation until she moved to California and married Daniel Neghiu on November 7, 1959. She lived in San Leandro, California until June 2018 when she moved to Columbia, Missouri to be near her daughter. She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Neghiu of San Leandro, CA and brother Cornell Sass of Warren, OH. Survivors include her sister Virginia Horvath of Berwyn, PA; sister-in-law Frances Sass of Warren, OH; daughter Noreen Curry of Columbia, MO; son-in-law Randy Curry of Columbia, MO; and granddaughter Clarissa Curry of Dallas, TX.
