Virginia Mae O'Brien

Funeral services celebrating the life of Virginia Mae OBrien will be held at 7 PM Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel. Virginia passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Hospice House at the age of 80. She was born June 9, 1938 in Youngstown the daughter of Arthur C. and Margaret E. (Metz) Lundy and was a graduate of Boardman High School class of 1957. Virginia retired in 2004 from First Place Bank where she had been a loan secretary. Her hobbies included working on puzzles and she was an avid reader. Virginia leaves a daughter, Sherrie Skelton and her husband Rich, two grandchildren Brian and Brittany, one great grandson, Karter, as well as a sister-in-law Lois Lundy and several nieces and nephews. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Margaret, and a brother James Lundy. Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 PM Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel were services will be held at 7 PM. The family would like to thank Dr. A. Chahine and the staff at the Blood and Cancer Center as well as Hospice of the Valley and nurse Darlene, nurse aids, Denise, Lynn, and Dee and also all the staff at Hospice House for all the care and support given Virginia and her family during her time with them.
