W. Yvonne Kimball

Yvonne Kimball, 86 of Cortland, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday evening, March 12, 2019, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital emergency room following a heart attack. She was born October 11, 1932 in Arbovale, West Virginia the daughter of the late Orville and Monnie Kennedy Anderson. Yvonne graduated from high school in Cambridge, Ohio. She retired from the federal government, last working at the Youngstown Air Reserve Station in the inventory department. Yvonne was a longtime member of Warren Baptist Temple, where she had been active with the choir and food ministry. She was an animal lover and loved her cats and dogs over the years. She said sometimes she loved animals more so than people. She collected ladybug figures and had a large collection of them. Yvonne was preceded in death in 2002 by her husband of 51 years, Kenneth Kimball whom she married July 2, 1951. She has happily joined him forever. She is survived and will be sadly missed by her friends and caregivers, Ardena K. Sines of Cortland, Marlene Waters (whom she called her sister) of Andover and Bill Parker of Howland; her sister-in-law, Doris Kimball of Florida; a special cousin, Donna West of Champion; nieces, nephews and cousins and her church family. The funeral service will be held at noon Friday, March 15, 2019 at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel in Warren, where friends may call from 11:30 a.m. until the noon service time. Pastor Jim Dittmar will officiate. Burial will be at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna. Memorial contributions may be made to the Warren Baptist Temple.
