Walter Frank Maycher

Walter F. Maycher, 95, passed away peacefully, Sunday morning, February 2, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. Walt was born June 17, 1929, in Flint, Michigan. A resident of Bazetta Township, he spent many years on the zoning board.

He attended St. Mary’s High School and honorably served in the U.S. Marines. After working 30 years he retired from Antennuci Plumbing. Walter’s talents included wood working on home projects, hunting, and fishing. He was always willing to help others. He spent forty-five years married to Trudy Bollas Maycher who passed before him.

He is survived by his stepson, Mike (Luanne) Bollas; stepdaughter, Cheryl (Harley) Tennant, and many other step grandchildren.
