Warner E. Cole, 80, of Austintown, passed away on Monday December 24, 2018 at St. Elizabeths Hospital in Youngstown. Warner was born August 11, 1938 in Youngstown, the son of Wilbur and Frieda Cummings Cole. Warner was a 1957 graduate of Austintown Fitch where he played football and was the "King of Football." Prior to retirement in 1998, he worked as a Crane Operator for Copperweld Steel. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed square and round dancing with his wife, watching sports, especially the Cleveland Browns and Indians. He was a silhouette model in the May 1957 issues of Practical English. Warner is survived by his wife of 56 years, Donna M. Price Cole, whom he married July 20, 1962; his son Warner (Amy) A. Cole of Youngstown; his grandson Thomas James (Courtney) Cole of Salem; his twin brother Wilbur (Lois) Cole of Austintown; his sisters Kelli (Dave) Choats of Willowby and Sharon (Tony) Willmitch of Youngstown and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandson Michael J. Cole and many aunts and uncles. The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 5:00- 7:00 PM at Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 31, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
