Wesley J. Comsia Jr.

Wesley J. Comsia Jr., 67, of Austintown, passed Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at his residence. Wesley was born August 4, 1951 in Youngstown, the son of Wesley and Veronica (Whiteside) Comsia. Wesley was a 1969 graduate of Poland Seminary High School. Prior to his retirement in 2016, he was a Tractor Trailer Driver for Star Extruded Shapes. Wesley had a passion for baseball, from his time playing Little League to AA. He enjoyed golfing, taking walks, and long drives on the open road to Arizona. Wesley is survived by his mother Veronica Comsia of Poland; his daughter Holly (Philip) Sodeman of Boardman; his sister Lonnie (Douglas) Coppock of Arizona; his grandchildren Thomas Sodeman of Columbus, Grace and Zachary Sodeman of Boardman; his uncle Thomas Whiteside of Austintown; and his former wife Kathleen Comsia of Boardman. Wesley is preceded in death by his father. The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, March 17, 2019 from 2:00 PM - until the time of service at Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM at the funeral home on Sunday. The family asks that gifts be made as donations to the American Heart Association.
