Wilbur Floyd Heberling

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home, Canfield Chapel for Wilbur Floyd Heberling formerly of Canfield, who passed away Thursday at his son’s home in California. Wilbur was born February 3, 1914 in Youngstown, the son of Wilbur and Clyda (Hinkle) Heberling. He was a boiler engineer at The Youngstown Sheet and Tube Company and was a WWII Navy Veteran. Wilbur leaves his wife Ethel (Maurer) Heberling whom he married in 1935 and four children: Rae M. Heberling of Columbus, OH., Wilbur N. Heberling of San Jose, CA., Jon M. Heberling of Marietta, CA., and Richard L. Heberling of Cornersburg. He also leaves ten grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Wilbur was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and three sisters. Friends and family may call from 1-2 PM, one-hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
