Wilbur Rieser

Warren- Funeral services will be held 11AM Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home- Niles Chapel for Wilbur Rieser age 81 of Warren who died Saturday morning in Trumbull Memorial Hospital. Wilbur was born Aug. 13, 1924 in Brookfield, OH and was the son of the late Roy and Grace (Clark) Rieser. He retired in 1985 from Van Huffle Tube Corp. where he had been a controller. He had served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, was of the Protestant faith and enjoyed fishing, golfing and baseball. Wilbur is survived by his wife the former Mary Fry whom he married July 3, 1947. He also leaves a son Ken Rieser of Niles, two grandchildren Derek Rieser and Teresa Rieser and four great grandchildren, Kayla, Julia, Meghan and Isabella. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-6 pm Tuesday.
