Wilda M. Hoover

August 22, 1915 — July 15, 2002

Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home, Mineral Ridge Chapel for Wilda M. Hoover of 842 Vienna Ave., Niles who died Monday morning at Autumn Hills Nursing Home. Wilda was born Aug. 22, 1915 in Masontown, WV. A daughter of Hercules and Ice May (Burns) Sterling. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Howland where she was a member of the Senior Citizens of the Church. She is survived by her children Geneva Louise Long of Morgantown, WV, Virginia Everly of Tullahoma, TN, Carolyn Hose of Niles, and Darlean Conroy of Austintown; 16 Grandchildren; and 15 Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her 1st husband Herbert Taylor and 2nd husband Thurman Hoover; a daughter Maxine Layman; three sisters, Genevieve Stiles, Edna Louck, and Agnes Turner; and three brothers Bill, Lawrence, and Arthur Sterling. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
