William Dietelbach

November 24, 1941 — March 30, 2017

William H. Dietelbach, 75, passed away on March 30, 2017 at Cleveland Clinic. Bill was born on November 24, 1941 in Warren to Glen & Ruth (Drumm) Dietelbach. On June 1, 1960 he married the former Phyllis Joy the love of his life and they have celebrated 57 years together. Bill spent his career working in the blast furnace for WCI. He retired in 2000. An active member of Northeast Christian Church, Bill and Phyllis held weekly bible study in their home. They also enjoyed spending summers camping in their "condo by the lake' at the Mosquito Lake Campground where over the years they have formed a group of friends that are as close as family. Most of all Bill loved spending time with his family. Bill also loved fishing and old cars. He liked going to car shows, and restoring old Chevys. Friends may visit with his family on Monday April 3rd from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday April 4th from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. at Lane Funeral Homes, Warren location; 180 Garfield NE where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. Bill is survived by his wife Phyllis, his children: Denise (Rick) Davies, Michael (Aimee) Dietelbach and Jodi (Floyd) Harris; his grandchildren: Melanie, Steven, Amber, Cortney, Jenna, Glen; his step-grandchildren Cody and Mason; his great-grandchildren: Haley, Cyan, Anthony, Savannah, Maksim, Zander and Alea; and his step great-grandchild Gabriel; his sisters: Martha Kukura, Glenna Deal, Sandra (George) Crevier; his brother Garry (Mary Mauro) Dietelbach and his sister-in-law Sandi Sanderson. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Dorothy Sherosky and several other loved ones. Memorial donations may be made to Northeast Christian Church; 865 Perkins Jones Rd. Warren.
