William E. Reed, Sr.

William E. Reed, Sr., 84 passed away on August 4, 2017 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. Bill was born in Grafton, WV on March 21, 1933 to Robert & Clarinda (Mitchell) Reed. He spent his career working for Syro Steel as a rolling mill operator. He was also a member of Moose Lodge #1012 in Mecca Twp. Bill loved to have fun and was always laughing. He enjoyed playing horseshoes, gardening and pressing his luck with lottery tickets and betting at Hollywood Casinos. Most importantly he was a man with a generous heart who loved his family. Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 9th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Lane Funeral Homes, Roberts Clark Chapel, Warren where a funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. Bill is survived by his wife Lavonne whom he was united in marriage to on September 10, 2004. His is also survived by his children Regina (Kenneth) Kihm, William Reed, Jr., Christopher (Erica) Hurst and Amanda Brown; 8 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren, and his siblings Toleta Summerfield, Robert "Sam" Reed, Edna Robinson, James Reed, Mary Wonycott, Lewis "Richard" Reed, David Reed, Wanetta "Peggy" Stevens as well as many other relatives. He was preceded in death by his first wife Beulah in 1998, his infant daughter Pamela Jean, his brothers Alva Reed, Holly "Brown" Reed and Kenneth Reed, and his sister Loretta Reed.
