William David Edwards

William (Bill) David Edwards, 69, a cherished resident of Lake Milton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2024. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Born and raised in Ohio to the late Pershing and Fern Edwards, Bill dedicated his life to his family and community. He is survived by his devoted wife of 47 years, Jacqui, and his son David.

Bill was a proud grandfather to four granddaughters: Han, Madison, Sophia, and Samantha, each of whom brought immense joy to his life. He also leaves behind his stepdaughter, Brandi, her husband Chris, and their sons, Ian and Zach, who were a cherished part of his extended family.

Family was the cornerstone of Bill's life, and he shared a close bond with his siblings, Tom, Sheila, Diane, and Gail. His life was enriched by the many friendships he cultivated over the years, each one a testament to his kind and generous spirit.

Bill was highly active and enjoyed multiple sports and activities. His favorites included golfing, fishing, and cornhole. He was also proud of his garage/man cave, where he enjoyed working on cars and his weekly poker nights with family and friends. Bill was always outgoing and would talk with anyone who would listen. 

Music played a big part of Bill’s life. He was an avid music lover, with a diverse collection of vinyl records. His knowledge of classic rock was extensive. 

Services will be held on December 10 at Lane Funeral Home in Austintown. Calling hours will take place from 11:30AM to 1:30PM, with the funeral immediately afterwards. 

 The family requests that any donations be made to University Hospitals or Lifebanc in William's memory, reflecting his lifelong commitment to helping others.
