William Keith Sivert, Jr.

William K. Sivert, Jr., 89 passed away on March 28, 2020 at Riverside Manor Center, Newcomerstown, Ohio. William was born on June 14, 1930 in Youngstown, Ohio the son of the late William K. and Carolyn Wetmore Sivert.
A graduate of Jackson Milton High School, William was a machinist for Eastern Airlines for twenty-one years. He owned a machine shop and repaired lawn mowers during his time in Silver Springs and Ocala Florida.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Silver Springs, Florida where he was active with the Methodist Men’s Club. William received an endowed membership in the Meander Lodge No #765 F. & A.M. He enjoyed spending time with his friends at the Antique Engine Club.
William was united in marriage to the former Clara Mae McDougal on August 7, 1951 who preceded him in death. He is survived by his children Gregory (Barbara) Sivert, Karen (Samuel) Lanzarotta, Mark (Patricia) Sivert, William K. Sivert III and Cathy Sivert; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his infant son Gary Sivert.
Private funeral services have taken place with burial at North Jackson Cemetery. A Memorial Service to celebrate William’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a local Hospice or Children’s Hospital.
