William E. Parker

William E. “Bill” Parker, age 79, of Warren passed away peacefully at Windsor House of Champion on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. He was born at St. Josephs Riverside Hospital in Warren on July 26, 1945.

Bill was a graduate of Lakeview High School Class of 1964. He served his country proudly from 1965-1969 in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Northampton CC-1 the flagship for Command Strike Force Atlantic.

He was a lifelong member of Warren Baptist Temple where he served on the Deacon/Trustee board as the church Treasurer. He retired after nearly 40 years from Peerless-Winsmith, Inc. in Warren. He was passionate about music being a self-taught piano player and organist, which he played during church services for several years. He also sang with and at times led and directed the church choir.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ira R. and Violet Bowser Parker; brother, Ira L. Parker; niece, Barbara Ann Parker.

He is survived by his sister-in-law, Lucy Poulson-Parker; nephews, Michael Parker of Orville and Joseph and his wife Pamela Parker and great niece, Kayla Parker of Medina.

Calling hours will be held 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Warren Baptist Temple 195 Belvedere Ave. NE Warren, OH 44483 with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM. Interment will be held 11:00 AM Monday February 10, 2025 at Crown Hill Burial Park 3966 Warren Sharon Rd. Vienna, OH 44473. The family is in the care of Lane Funeral Home, Roberts-Clark Chapel.
