William S. Victor, 88, passed away on December 31, 2018 at Trumbull Regional Hospital. Bill was born on July 4, 1930 in Warren the son of Steven & Juilana (Garbar) Victor. He was a lifelong resident of the area. After graduating from St. Marys High School, Bill proudly served his country in US Army as a SSgt in 63 ordnance depo company stationed in Germany. Upon his honorable discharge, Bill returned home and on August 1, 1953 he was united in marriage to the former Betty Joanne Gillen who preceded him death on June 30, 2015. Bill spent his career working for the City of Warren at the water filtration plant. He retired in 1996 after 36 years of service. When he wasnt working, Bill was traveling the USA. He especially loved camping out West. He was also a man of faith and was a longtime member of St. James Parish. A memorial service will be held on Friday January 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at All Souls Cemetery Chapel. Bill is survived by his sons: William S. (Marva) Victor, John P. (Connie) Victor and Joseph E. (Mary Kay) Victor; three granddaughters: Leah (Chris) Donley, Jenna Victor and Julia (Elliot) Shreve and five great grandchildren: Lydia, Natalie and Julianna Donley and Joella and Quentin Bellamy. Besides his wife of 62 years, Bill was preceded in death by his sons David, Paul and Thomas Victor. Memorial donations may be made to the memorial fund at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 185 Laird Ave. NE, Warren, OH 44483.
